BitGo Launches Stablecoin-as-a-Service for Regulated Issuances
BitGo launched its Stablecoin-as-a-Service on October 20, 2026, allowing banks, fintechs, and companies to issue stablecoins without building their own infrastructure. Legal and compliance checks remain the responsibility of the institutions. The service provides a regulated pathway for stablecoin issuance, including custody, reserve management, and compliance tools. Institutions can choose to use an existing infrastructure instead of developing their own, lowering the barriers to entry in the stablecoin market. The service complies with U.S. licensing frameworks, including the GENIUS Act, but does not exempt issuers from their own legal checks. Interest in stablecoins is growing as institutions seek regulated ways to issue digital assets. BitGo, a digital asset custody provider, integrates stablecoin issuance into its services for institutional clients, operating under U.S. jurisdiction.
