Doubao Work Launched, an AI Agent for Business
ByteDance launched its productivity-focused AI agent brand, Doubao Work, on the 25th. This product integrates documents, spreadsheets, PPTs, images, videos, web pages, and applications for creation and editing. Doubao Work is designed as a work-oriented product that connects tasks such as material creation, data organization, tool invocation, and output generation. The AI can only read data and use tools within the user's permission scope, and security measures include device access, permission settings, usage limit management, data encryption, and task auditing. This product focuses on limiting the use of AI in corporate collaboration tools, ensuring that the AI cannot read or execute materials that the user does not have access to. Doubao Work handles various content formats and has established itself as a suitable case for enhancing corporate productivity. Currently, Doubao Work is introduced as one of the products that have passed the first business intelligence capability certification and cloud standard testing certification in China.
