DriveWealth Partners with Ripple for Cross-Border Stock Trading Funding
DriveWealth plans to integrate Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD for settlement on the XRP Ledger, starting in Europe with potential expansion to the US. This partnership aims to address the cash transfer issues that hinder timely stock trading due to banking cutoffs. DriveWealth will also incorporate Ripple Payments for cross-border funding and is exploring Ripple's custody and prime-brokerage services. While the integration is underway, not all customers will be able to settle in RLUSD immediately. The initiative seeks to enhance the efficiency of international transfers, which can delay buying power and require brokers to maintain cash buffers. If successful, these improvements could be reflected in popular investing applications rather than as separate crypto products, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall customer experience.

The Nasdaq rose for two sessions early in the week, but concerns about inflation, GOOGL’s sharp drop, and weak after-hours reactions to AMZN and INTC pushed volatility higher. BTC briefly fell below $80,000. As of the morning of October 30, the ECI, Chicago PMI, and XOM and CVX earnings were still pending.
