Lemon allows users to earn up to 2% more for every dollar brought from the U.S.
Lemon, the Argentine wallet with over 4 million users, has launched a feature that allows users to receive up to 2% more for every dollar brought to Argentina. For example, when depositing 2000 dollars from the U.S. via ACH, users can receive 2033 dollars in an Argentine bank, including fees. If stablecoins are used, the earnings can reach 2060 dollars. The difference is due to the exchange rate of the digital dollar (USDt), which is currently approximately 3% above the MEP dollar and the official rate. The wallet offers a calculator to enter the amount, choose the method of dollar entry, view the fees, and see the credited amount in the Argentine bank. To generate profits with dollars brought from the U.S., certain steps must be followed: open an account in the U.S. from the Lemon app, deposit dollars from a U.S. bank, PayPal, Wise, or Payoneer, and send them to the Argentine bank account. For example, when depositing 2000 dollars in Lemon, 1970 dollars will be credited (due to a 1.5% fee on ACH), and when sent to an Argentine bank, 2033.04 dollars will be received. Opening the virtual account in the U.S. has a one-time cost of 4 digital dollars, and the exchange rate is variable, so the final result will depend on the value at the time of the transaction.
