Lombard Systems Completes $4 Million Seed Funding Round Led by Ethereal Ventures
Lombard Systems has announced the completion of a $4 million seed funding round, led by Ethereal Ventures, with participation from ALPS Capital, First Commit, Veris Ventures, and ATKA. Lombard Systems provides financing infrastructure for tokenized securities and maintains the Delivery versus Lock (DvL) standard, which allows banks, brokers, and transfer agents to accept tokenized assets and digital assets as collateral without moving the assets out of their original securities accounts. The assets remain locked in the owner's name, and lenders obtain enforceable security interests evidenced by cryptographically signed credit certificates.

The market quickly shifted from post-election risk recovery to AI policy risk and data-center restriction pricing. Thursday’s tech and AI-chain decline pulled BTC below $76,000, moving the market from earnings trades into a second-wave volatility window.
