Messi Returns to Miami After Vacation in Rosario
Lionel Messi has finished his vacation in Rosario and traveled back to the United States. He took a night flight on Tuesday and is expected to arrive on American soil in the early hours of Wednesday. The Inter Miami player did not return with the official delegation that went back to Buenos Aires after the defeat against Spain in the 2026 World Cup final, opting for a private flight with his family. During his stay in Rosario, Messi had family gatherings and attended a match of Leones FC, the club he owns. Although the coaching staff of Inter Miami has not confirmed the exact date of his return to the field, there are several possibilities in the short term. The first option is this Saturday, when Inter Miami faces Columbus Crew in the MLS. His participation has not been confirmed, but he could attend the match. If he does not play in that game, his return could be on Wednesday, August 5, when the team debuts in the Leagues Cup against San Luis.
