Musk Claims Only OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cursor Have Sufficient Programming Training Data
Musk stated that a significant amount of training data is required to build truly exceptional superintelligence and that programming must be mastered when discussing the reasons for acquiring the AI programming company Cursor. He pointed out that only three organizations possess sufficient programming training data: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cursor, with Google barely making the cut. Musk's SpaceX completed the acquisition of Cursor on August 14, with a transaction price of approximately $60 billion.
