U.S. Non-Farm Payrolls Revised Up by 55,000 for June and July
According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the non-farm payroll employment for June was revised up from 20,000 to 31,000, while the non-farm payroll employment for July was revised from a decrease of 23,000 to an increase of 21,000. After revisions, the total increase in employment for June and July was 55,000. In August, U.S. non-farm employment increased by 162,000, significantly higher than the average monthly increase of 31,000 over the past 12 months.
