1. CXMT Surges on Debut, Global Memory Stocks Under Pressure

Chinese memory chip leader CXMT (ChangXin Memory Technologies) made its debut on Shanghai's STAR Market, with shares soaring as much as 466% on the first trading day, pushing its market capitalization close to $500 billion and making it the largest semiconductor company in China's A-share market.

Rising expectations for China's domestic memory industry weighed on U.S. memory stocks. Sandisk (SNDK) fell more than 11%, Micron (MU) declined around 2%–5%, while SK Hynix ADR also traded lower as investors reassessed the global DRAM competitive landscape.

2. D-Wave Expands Partnership with AT&T, Advancing Quantum Computing Commercialization

Quantum computing company D-Wave announced an expanded partnership with AT&T, integrating its quantum computing capabilities into AI-powered network operations.

The collaboration has reduced network optimization processing time from around one hour to under 15 seconds. Future applications are expected to include fault detection, network planning, and intelligent scheduling, boosting investor interest in quantum computing stocks.
