ADRs Rise by Up to 7%, Country Risk Falls to 441 Basis Points
ADRs have risen by nearly 7% due to the improved international financial climate driven by strong results from Microsoft and the advance of Wall Street indices. The country risk stands at 441 basis points amid global volatility due to the war in the Middle East. Wall Street indices rebounded following the Fed's decision to keep interest rates unchanged and Microsoft's results, although Meta disappointed the market. Notable ADRs include Edenor, BBVA (+5.4%), and Central Puerto (+5.3%). The S&P Merval increased by 2.2% to 3,304,710.100 basis points, with gains in Sociedad Comercial del Plata (+4.5%), Central Puerto (+4.3%), and BBVA (+4.2%). Locally, the country risk has fallen below 450 basis points, which still limits Argentina's access to external financing. However, the Fed's decision to maintain rates could increase demand for emerging market assets.
