Crypto.com to Cease App Services for Hong Kong Users on February 1, 2027
Crypto.com will stop providing retail customer App services to users in Hong Kong starting February 1, 2027. Notifications have been sent to affected users, and guidance on account closure and asset withdrawal will be provided via email and in-app notifications. This move aims to streamline global operations and concentrate resources on markets with better long-term growth prospects. This adjustment does not affect the virtual asset trading platform license application of its Hong Kong entity, Foris DAX HK Limited, which will continue to seek regulatory approval for the Crypto.com Exchange platform aimed at institutional clients.
